Chemical Valley Rollergirls Needs You!
Come meet the team and learn about opportunities for involvement with CVRG. We're recruiting age 19+ skaters, referees, and non-skating officials (score keepers, etc.). Recruitment is every Monday at 6 p.m. sharp. If you're interesting in joining please contact us and we will give you all the details!
On February 25, the Chemical Valley Rollergirls travelled to Richmond Virginia to take on the River City Rollergirls‘ B-Team, the Uncivil Warriors, to play what turned out to be an exciting, closely matched game. CVRG managed to hold the lead until the last 5 minutes of the bout, with Uncivil Warriors pulling out a score of 78 to CVRG’s 65. The River City Rollergirls are a wonderful team, a gracious group of athletes, and we can not wait to face them again.
A special congrats to our first time bouters R. Mia Darkness, Randa Bitchdown, Slap Chop, and White Thrash, huge thanks to bench coach GNinj, fill-in skaters (and honorary CVRG) Double Portion and Smooth Operator, and welcome back to Shorty Shorts. We couldn’t have done it without you.
